Biography
I'm a professor of Smart Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, splitting my academic life between Mansoura University in Egypt and Taibah University in Saudi Arabia. My research sits at the intersection of AI, bio-inspired optimization, and real-world engineering problems.
Outside the lab, I spend a lot of time translating hard ideas into plain language — through a YouTube channel and a set of Udemy courses — because research that only a handful of specialists can read doesn't do much good.
As an IEEE Senior Member and a researcher ranked in the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide, I try to make sure the work ends up somewhere useful: classrooms, products, and public understanding, not just journals.
